On August 14, the first Grand Finale of the Short Shot Fest international festival of took place at "Efir" art center.
The final screening program included 12 best films of the 2020/2021 season, filmed by directors from Russia, Hungary, Great Britain, Italy, France, the Philippines.
The audience warmly received the prize-winning films, and also talked with their creators with pleasure.
After the screening the audience didn't want to let go the actor and director of the theater Roman Viktyuk Igor Nevedrov, whose debut film "Coat" was recognized by the Short Shot Fest jury as Best Film 2020-2021.
Italian director Vincenzo De Sio, the author of the animated film "Beatrice", answered the audience's questions during the live Zoom and completely captivated the audience with the story that formed the basis of his work.
Thanks to the live broadcast from the UK, viewers were able to meet the youngest Short Shot Fest finalist, Ava Bound. Despite the fact that Ave is only 15 years old, her work won the jury with depth.
French director Boubkat Benzabat also presented his Best Foreign comedy film "Bless me Father" and answered of audience questions.
The 2020-2021 Short Shot Fest season is over, the winners have been announced, but we have opened the new 2021-2022 season and are waiting for your films.
